I want to team up with someone—how do I create my Dream Team?

It's challenging to find the right people to form a team with, but it is possible, even remotely.

Top teaming tips:

- update your DevPost profile with a picture, skills, and interests - this lets others learn about you
- under [Participants] tab, set yourself as "Looking for a team"
- wanna create a team from scratch? Under [My projects] create a project as a proposal to share with other hackers
- send invites to other users introducing yourself and your favourite challenge
- jump on a video call if you need to, use https://meet.jit.si/ (free), Zoom, Google Meet, Skype - whatever
- check out each others' LinkedIn and GitHub profiles
- have fun
- ask to be connected to other people your new contacts may have met that would be a good match for your team, now that you know each other a little bit
- reach out to the organizers if you're not making progress, and we'll help you out!

What do I do if I don't like my team? First, learn from the experience: how did you end up in this situation in the first place?

It is inevitable that some conflict (of vision, of personalities) will arise during the hackathon between team members. If the collaboration stops being productive, or is no longer fun, no worries - please ask the organizers to help you find another team where your skills and interests are better served. :-)
